   Out of interest what fonts are you using for the Gnome UI, (i.e., System -> Preferences -> Appearance -> Fonts )

      The font that I use is called: «bitstream vera sans roman»

   Hmm… no dice here I can select the theme from the preferences dialog but nothing happens.

      Mmm… I’m using the daily build of gwibber from this ppa:

      https://launchpad.net/~gwibber-daily/+archive/ppa

      Try again using the new one.

   Yep it works fine in the daily build 🙂

   I was using ver 0.9.2 from the stable ppa btw.
